EON BANK GROUP MOL FREEDOM MASTERCARD UNEMBOSSEDCARD AGREEMENT

In consideration of EON Bank Berhad (Company No. 92351-V) (hereinafter called “EON Bank”) agreeing to issue the EON Bank Group MasterCard Unembossed or Visa Prepaid Card (hereinafter referred to as “the Card(s)”) to the individual named (hereinafter called “the Cardholder”) on the Card(s) at the Cardholder’s request, the Cardholder hereby agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

In this Agreement where the context so admits, the following terms and conditions shall have the meaning designated unless the context otherwise requires:

“Activation Fee” means where applicable, a fee of the sum as stipulated in the Application Form in Ringgit Malaysia payable by the Cardholder to EON Bank for the activation of the Card(s) purchased and to be deducted from the Initial Top-Up Payment later.

“Annual Fee” means the non-refundable fee of the sum as stipulated in the Application Form in Ringgit Malaysia payable by the Cardholder to the Bank at the end of twelve (12) months from the date of issuance of the Card(s) to renew the Card(s) and the waiver of this non-refundable fee if applicable shall be in the manner as provided in the Application Form;

“Application Form” means the relevant application form signed by the applicant in respect of the application for the usage and activation of the Card(s) and which details out the terms and conditions and fees and charges pertaining to the usage of the said Card(s);

“ATMs” means automated teller machines;

“Business Days” means any day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) on which EON Bank is opened for business;

“Card(s)” means the relevant EON Bank Group MasterCard Unembossed or Visa Prepaid Card issued by EON Bank;

“Cardholder” means the individual who is the holder of the Card(s) duly issued by EON Bank in accordance to this Agreement;

“Cardholder’s MasterCard Unembossed or Visa Prepaid Card Account” means the MasterCard Unembossed or Visa Prepaid Card account to be opened and maintained by the Cardholder for the issuance and use of the Card(s) and from which cash withdrawals or payment for any purchase of goods and/or services by the Cardholder are to be deducted or debited;

“EON Bank” means EON Bank Berhad (Company No. 92351-V), a licensed bank incorporated in Malaysia and having its registered office at 12th Floor, Menara EON Bank, Jalan Raja Laut, 50450 Kuala Lumpur and includes its successors in title and assigns;

“Initial Top-Up Payment” means the initial top-up payment of the sum as stipulated in the Application Form in Ringgit Malaysia to be deposited/ preloaded by the party mentioned in the Application Form into the Cardholder’s MasterCard Unembossed or Visa Prepaid Card Account;

“Joining Fee” means the one off payment of the sum as stipulated in the Application Form in Ringgit Malaysia or such other amount in Ringgit Malaysia as may be specified by EON Bank from time to time and payable by the Cardholder to EON Bank for the issuance of the Card(s);

“Merchants” means the retailer, or any other person, firm or corporation that agrees to accept the Card(s) and have agreed to provide goods and/or services to the Cardholder of a value up to the available balance of the Prepayments in the Cardholder’s MasterCard Unembossed or Visa Prepaid Card Account upon production of the Card(s) by the Cardholder and upon the terms and conditions herein;

“PIN” means the personal identification number issued on the Card(s);

“Prepayment” means the top-up amount or further reload amount of not more than the sum stipulated in the Application Form in Ringgit Malaysia and/or in any other currency as stipulated therein deposited by the Cardholder into the Cardholder’s MasterCard Unembossed or Visa Prepaid Card Account for withdrawal of funds or the purchase of goods and/or services from the Merchants up to the value paid in accordance to the terms and conditions herein and the expression “Prepayments” shall be construed accordingly;

For the activation and usage of the Card(s), the Cardholder must complete the provided Application Form and submit it to EON Bank or its nominee(s) or appointed agent(s) as stipulated therein together with his or her photocopy of the identification card (both sides), and all other documents and payments as specified therein.

The Cardholder hereby agrees that EON Bank shall not in any manner whatsoever be held responsible for any loss incurred and/or damage suffered by the Cardholder as a result of EON Bank’s failure to activate the Card(s) followed by subsequent termination of the Card(s) by EON Bank for any reasons whatsoever.
