What is EON BANK GROUP MOL Freedom MasterCard Unembossed Card?

It is a Prepaid MasterCard that can be used to purchase goods like a credit card but with spending limited to the amount of money stored in the card – similar to your prepaid mobile phone service.

What do I need to do?

• Buy the EON BANK GROUP MOL Freedom MasterCard Unembossed Card Starter Pack
• Sign your name on the signature panel on reverse of card
• Complete the application form and Letter of Indemnity (if applicant is age above 12 years old but below 18 years old) and mail it back in the self-mailer

How do I use it?

Just present it to the outlets where MasterCard Card is accepted and it will be inserted into a credit card terminal for approval, just like a normal credit card transaction.

Who can qualify for this card?

Malaysian who holds a NRIC or MyKAD. There is no income qualification required for this card. Parental consent is required for applicants who are below 18 years of age. For non-Malaysian, photocopy of the passport and a valid address in Malaysia is required.

Where and how can I top-up?

Over the counter at EON Bank and EONCAP Islamic Bank Branches You can top up any amount at any EON Bank and EONCAP Islamic Bank branches by depositing the money into your card’s account. Simply fill in the bank-in slip form with your card number and the amount deposited.

Retail
Outlets you can top-up in denominations of RM50, RM100, RM200 and RM500 at any location identified with the Freedom Top-up logo, 7-Eleven, epay outlets, OnePoint terminals and MOLePoints Centres (Cybercafe). For top-up instruction, please refer to the top-up instruction printed on the vouchers.

Online Banking
You can transfer funds via RHB Bank (www.rhbbank.com.my) and Maybank (www.maybank2u.com.my) to your EON BANK GROUP MOL Freedom MasterCard Unembossed Card. Just simply follow the instruction at the relevant website.

FPX
You can transfer funds online through your banking account with selected banking institutions directly to your EON BANK GROUP MOL Freedom MasterCard Unembossed Card. Simply visit freedom.mol.com and select Top-up via FPX (www.fpx.com.my) and follow the relevant instructions.

Mobile Money
You can transfer funds from your Mobile Money account directly to your EON BANK GROUP MOL Freedom Unembossed MasterCard Card. Simply visit freedom.mol.com and select Top-up and follow the relevant instruction.

Note : Kindly note that you can top-up to a maximum available balance not exceeding RM10,000 at any given time.

Can I withdraw cash from the card?

Yes. You will need to apply for the Personal Identification Number (PIN) in the application form which will allow you to withdraw cash from any EON Bank and EONCAP Islamic Bank ATMs without any charges or CIRRUS enabled ATMs worldwide. (Please refer to application form for charges applied)

How do I keep track of my spending?

You may request for a Statement of Account to be mailed to your registered address for a fee of RM5.
